A Cutting-Edge Environment for Plant Science

This 12,000 SF addition to the Plant Growth Facilities West Greenhouse District created a first-of-its-kind space for the College of Biological Sciences, combining advanced research facilities with a public conservatory under one roof.

Work was carefully phased around active spaces and required numerous mechanical and infrastructure tie-ins to connect the new addition to existing systems. Through thoughtful coordination, construction moved forward without disrupting ongoing operations.

The greenhouse includes four distinct biome environments equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and modern climate controls for temperature, humidity, and lighting, all fully integrated into the campus-wide greenhouse management system.
