Building Creativity for Students

Loeffler served as General Contractor for the reroofing of Hasselmo Hall and McNeal Hall, two active academic facilities in the heart of busy campus districts. With pedestrian access and critical infrastructure on all sides, our team carefully planned and executed logistics to keep the buildings safe, accessible, and fully operational throughout construction.

At Hasselmo Hall, the work included replacing multiple EPDM roof sections including upper, perimeter, and lower areas, as well as a skyway roof connecting to a nearby building. By utilizing a tower crane, we optimized material handling while maintaining traffic flow, delivering a safer, less disruptive project for students and staff.

At McNeal Hall, reroofing focused on the central built-up roof areas, alongside masonry and flashing repairs. The project also included removing and replacing existing concrete decks with new built-up roofing, extending the building’s durability and performance for years to come.
