Owámniyomni Okhódayapi
Loeffler Construction is serving as Construction Manager for the phased restoration, working alongside Owámniyomni Okhódayapi, the GGN team, and numerous agency partners to carefully transform a site that has served as a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operational facility for more than six decades.
UMN Betty’s Apple House
Betty’s Apple House will open in 2027 as a vibrant, welcoming destination that remains free to the public. The new facility will expand offerings with University-made ice cream, local CFANS products, and engaging exhibits that share the science and history of fruit breeding, including the beloved Honeycrisp.
UMN Minnesota Landscape Arboretum New Entrance
This transformative project enhances the visitor experience at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum by relocating the main entrance to the intersection of Highway 5 and Minnewashta Parkway, creating a safer, faster, and more intuitive arrival for guests.
UMN Tashjian Bee and Pollinator Discovery Center
Located on the eastern campus of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, this 6,700 SF facility highlights the ecological and agricultural importance of bees while serving as both a public education center and a research hub for the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences at the University of Minnesota.
