Bringing New Life to a Lakeville Landmark
Backed by the 2021 Park Bond Referendum, the Antlers Park redevelopment transformed one of Lakeville’s most popular community destinations. Improvements included expanded parking to handle peak season crowds, a new central pavilion with modern restrooms and meeting rooms, an outdoor restaurant, a community fire pit, and multiple picnic shelters and shade structures. Recreational amenities such as sand volleyball courts, a lawn for outdoor games, a playground, and a hammocking area created new opportunities for year-round enjoyment.
The project also introduced a new Lake Marion Regional Greenway Trailhead, expanding pedestrian and bike access to the city’s trail system.
Loeffler served as Construction Manager as Adviser (CMa), leading preconstruction, trade contractor bidding, construction services, and closeout. Our team partnered closely with City Parks & Recreation staff to manage budgets and schedules while providing pricing options that helped shape the final restaurant design. By carefully sequencing work and prioritizing turf establishment, Loeffler ensured the park was ready to open on schedule in spring 2024.
